Hi everyone!

Sorry it's been a while! The timelapse video for Fox is finally complete and online. I've got a new set-up now since the previous video with the numbat, and it's a lot easier to film.

Speaking of the numbat, I entered it into our annual agricultural show, and it sold on the opening day! It's the first time I've entered anything into an exhibition for sale, so it's pretty exciting :D

Anyway, please check out the video, and don't forget to like and subscribe to my channel if you enjoy it ;)

Ringneck Parrot
I recently finished an illustration of a ringneck parrot, otherwise known here in Perth as a 28. These birds are actually found across Australia, with those on the east coast lacking the red above the beak and having even more yellow on their bellies.

Fox
Fox here is my first ever commission and pet portrait, for one of my lovely Patrons! He's a whippet hound and was great fun to draw. I had a good reference photo to work from for his head, but because of how he was lying down I had to kind of wing the neck and collar (I literally pieced it together from other reference shots from completely different angles). How do you think I went?

Done with Prismacolors on 260gsm Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper.

Hi everyone!

As mentioned when I uploaded my last illustration of the Numbat, I have been working on my very first timelapse video. From now on, most if not all of my major projects will have videos to go with them, so now you can watch me in action! Go check it out, and don't forget to like and subscribe to my channel if you enjoy it ;)

My name is Catherine and I hail from Perth, Western Australia. I have had a passion for animals since I was a little kid, and so now at the age of 21 I find myself in my fourth year of my biological sciences degree. Though studying animals using the scientific method has only been something I've started doing recently, one thing I've always done - since I was old enough to grasp a pencil - is express this obsession through illustration. As the years have passed, I've found joy in illustrating subjects other than just animals, and I love taking on new challenges in drawing. My dream is to pursue illustration after I have completed my degree. What you will find here is my growing portfolio to help me achieve that dream.

Really? Gosh, that's really nice haha! It's nice to feel remembered by others. :thanks:
Great to hear that you're doing well! I am too, thanks. Just finished a piece of artwork the other night which took forever to finish, so now I'm completely lazy and unable to draw again for a whiiiile xD
